We're moving to a new house! You might have noticed that my output as of late has been pretty light. I'm working on a few things, including that Meet The Artist meme thing that's making it's rounds. But we've been spending a lot of time packing and cleaning and coordinating our move. I've made more of an effort to draw daily digital sketches on my iPad though, and you'll see a lot more of those on here. I hope to be on track for bigger, better pieces by the middle of February. Until then, just hold tight. I promise I'll be back into full swing soon. Also, I will still pop on here in the mean time to love all of the beautiful pieces of art that wonderful people are creating.

I've realized that I don't gush about any of my characters enough. In fact, I'd love to do this for all my cuties, but I will just choose one. Since she is the main character in my comic, and I haven't gone too in-depth about her, here are 8 facts about Laumé McGregor. (A quick side note: the acute-accent é at the e

It is finished... Inktober 2016
Inktober is over!
And there was much rejoicing!
Thank you everyone for the encouragement and kind words.
I couldn't have pushed through without you.
I don't know about you all, but my hands need a break. I'm going to take a few days off from drawing, and then I'll jump back into comic pre-production work. Until then, let's all sit back and reflect on how far we've come. Gaze upon our works and rejoice. Sorry. I'm just really excited since this is the first time I completed Inktober. It was hard work but worth it. In the next month I plan to use some of the sketches I made to create fully realized and finished digital pieces to post here on D
Moving Forward
Hello, all! It's been a while since I've written something here, and and a lot has been going on. So, try to keep up. :)
Death of an OC
Shara is no more. Between some friend drama and some shake-ups to the world-building for our comic, I have actually abandoned her as a character in our story. Technically though, she was adopted and not a true OC. Despite spending so much time giving her a life and personality and design all my own, she never quite felt like she was fully mine. The world has also changed enough that her role in the story now feels superfluous. So, it's time to say goodbye. A character that I originally created to be her cou
